UGA Housing , Phase II
The next phase of University Housing includes renovation of Mary Lyndon Hall, renovationand expansion of Rutherford Hall and Reed Hall North, a new building on Reed Quad.
D.W. Brooks Mall
The final phase of D.W. Brooks Mall terminating at Cedar Street and Conner Hall is in the planning stage.
Double Bridges Farm
Planning is underway on the relocation of sheep, beef cattle, and swine facilities from South Milledge Avenue to property in Oglethorpe County.
Greenhouse Master Plan
A study to provide up-to-date greenhouse facilities and accommodate future development on main campus.
Lumpkin Street Drainage Improvements
Phase II of Lumpkin Street water quality improvements in the Tanyard Creek watershed. This project is a collaboration with Athens-Clarke County.
PVAC Corridor
Planning is underway on the pedestrian linkages through East Campus as construction is completed on the new Lamar Dodd School of Art. Innovative water quality design and revised automobile and transit routes will be addressed.
East Campus Master Plan
A master plan to improve pedestrian/vehicular circulation and natural resources on East Campus.
Research Park
A master plan to continue development of the UGA Research Park.
Special Collections Library
A site plan study to incorporate the Special Collections Library into the Northwest Precinct.
Northwest Precinct
A precinct master plan for the future growth and ultimate build-out to include the Special Collections Library, and other yet-to-be-determined uses.
Northeast Precinct
A study to expand growth in the Northeast Precinct.
UGA Griffin Campus Master Plan
University Planners are currently assisting the UGA Griffin Campus in completing a master plan for future growth in Baccelaureate degrees to be offered.
Georgia Quad
A new quadrangle greenspace to serve as the western gateway into UGA's central precinct. The "Georgia Quad" will incorporate tall canopy trees, turf, and a sub-surface cistern to collect and store rainwater.
Greenway Trail
UGA planners are working with Athens-Clarke County to extend the N. Oconee River Greenway.
